    The 2019 Jefferson County Agribusiness banquet was held March 15 at the Fairbury High School. The event was sponsored by Jefferson County area businesses and promoted and organized by the Fairbury FFA alumni.

  • Emergency Declaration For Jefferson County Signed

    County Commissioner Mark Schoenrock signed an Emergency Declaration for Jefferson County this morning, Fri. March 15. That declaration will then go to the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) this morning. This is to make Jefferson County eligible for funding expenses that may result from the recent inclement weather and flooding.

  • Threes Pieces Expands Autism Gala, Awareness

    A local organization is making a big difference in bringing awareness and education to the autism spectrum.  Threes Pieces, an autism awareness group based in Fairbury, will be holding a gala March 30 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. The event is held each year to help bring awareness to the public about autism, and let children, on the spectrum or otherwise, cut loose and have some fun.

Roger Bailey, Ward Two, was not present.
