A service for Veterans and the community will be held on July 1, 2018 at 6PM. The service will be at Veterans Memorial Park in Beatrice Nebraska. 
“Peace at Last” service will be led by AseraCare Hospice Spiritual Coordinators, Sharon Schuster and Doyle Karst. The message will be given by Steve Swarthout (father of SPC Drae William J. Swarthout 2nd Ranger BN Airborne D.) and will be one of healing and praise for Veterans. Community Sing-a-long from 5:30-5:45PM with Scott and Jean Spilker. SFC (RET) Rick Stanley will provide music during the service with recognition for veterans and spouses of veteran in attendance. Scott and Jean Spilker will also provide music during the service. Color Guard will provide Presentation of Colors and Legion Riders will be in attendance. Kensington Assisted Living will provide popcorn. On display will be the patriotic shield owned by Dean Thornburg which was displayed at the dedication of Veteran’s Memorial Park.
AseraCare Hospice invites all veterans and their families to attend this service. For your comfort please bring your own lawn chairs. The park is handicap accessible.
AseraCare Hospice has established a special honors program for all Veterans admitted for hospice services. Upon admission each Veteran receives a framed certificate in recognition of their military service. AseraCare Hospice is proud partner in the We Honor Veterans program.
