    Through the first six holes of the Class C state golf championships, Thayer Central junior Jackson Feulner was having as good of round as any competitor on the Meadowlark Golf Course in Kearney.

    Thayer Central sophomore Chloe Souerdyke got her first taste of state success at last year’s track and field championships as a freshman.
    The three-sport standout claimed the school-record in the high jump as a freshman during the regular season and followed the achievement up by tying for fourth place at the state meet.
