    1st Team - Emily Welch, Thayer Central

    3rd Team - Jena Cottam, Thayer Central, Kory Moldenhauer, Wilber-Clatonia

    Wilber-Clatonia first-year head volleyball coach Jesi Markvicka has a young squad for the 2017 season with just one senior on the 11-member team. The break down of the team includes six freshmen, one sophomore, and three juniors.

    Playing its final home match of the season Tuesday evening, Thayer Central came out ready to play against Wilber-Clatonia.
    Despite a few hiccups in the second set, the Lady Titans took care of business earning a three-set sweep over the Lady Wolverines.
    Thayer Central won by scores of 25-7, 25-18, 25-14 to finish the regular season with a record of 15-15.

    Thayer Central won its second straight game of the year and in the process improved to 2-2 in district play after Friday’s 18-point road victory.
    The Titans jumped out to 22-7 halftime lead and never looked back.
