A pair of Thayer Central linksters will have their golf season extended a week.
Senior Max Madsen and sophomore Jackson Feulner qualified for next week's NSAA Class C Golf Championship after finishing as top 10 medalists at Tuesday's C-1 District golf meet held on the Woodland Hills Golf Course in Eagle, Neb.
Madsen, is a returning state medalist who placed ninth last year for the Titans at the Class C state meet.
This year, Madsen earned the sixth place medal in the C-1 District firing an 18-hole score of 81.
Feulner qualified by placing 10th overall shooting a score of 86.
Lincoln Christian's Joel Zach was the individual district medalist carding a score of 74.
The top three teams from the C-1 District that qualified for the Class C Golf Championship include district champion Lincoln Christian with a score of 319, Elmwood-Murdock, runner-up at 329, while Milford secured third place firing a score of 346.
In the 15-team field, Thayer Central finished tied for seventh with Superior each notching scores of 382.
Southern placed ninth in the final team standings shooting a score of 394.
There were no state qualifiers for the Raiders.
Jackson Feulner's  tee time for Tuesday is 9:50 a.m. off hole number 10.
Max Madsen's tee time on Tuesday is slated for 10 a.m. off hole number one.
The Class C Boys Golf Championship will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Kearney Country Club.
