Josiee Sobotka tied her season-best kill total at 16.
Meridian’s service game set the tone as the team recorded 12 aces, the fourth time they have reached double digit aces in 12 games this season.

Emily Welch, Katelyn Richardson, and Maggie Williams all recorded at least five kills apiece in the Titans 22-25, 25-13, 25-18 win over Fillmore Central at the Lawrence-Nelson Triangular on Tuesday.
Emily Welch paced the team with 14 kills and freshman setter Jasa Wiedel had a team-high two aces and 26 assists.

The Titans cruised to a 25-15, 25-19 victory over the host of Tuesday’s triangular with near-perfect serve receiving, committing only one error in that department.
Thayer Central libero Sydney Havel was the centerpiece of the stat line, registering team-high’s in serve receptions (12) and digs (13).
Coming off her season-best blocking game against Fillmore Central (5 blocks), Katelyn Richardson added her second-highest total of the season with four blocks against Lawrence-Nelson.
Diller-Odell 3 Tri County 1
Diller-Odell junior Emily Swanson was on fire in Thursday’s match at Tri County, putting down a career-high 20 kills in the Griffins 18-25, 25-13, 25-8, 25-15 victory over the Trojans.
Mackenzie Vitosh also had a career-high. She tallied eight aces at the service line to help Diller-Odell improve heir record to 7-4 this season. Addison Heidemann, the Griffins setter, recorded 37 assists – her best outing of the season by eight assists.
BDS 3 Meridian 1
On Meridian’s parents night, the MUDECAS Division A champions, BDS, defeated Meridian 25-18, 25-23. 21-25, 25-12 on Thursday.
The Mustangs record is now at 6-6 with the loss.
Thayer Central 3 Milford 1
Not one, not two, not three, but 12 wins is how many victories the Titans have pulled off to start the season now.
Third-ranked Class C-2 Thayer Central traveled to Milford on Thursday and downed the Eagles 17-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-13.¬
The Titans are the only remaining undefeated team in Class C-2.
