Mikwena Lierman, Sara Huss, and Leah Mach each tallied five kills or more in the Jeffs 25-10, 25-20 sweep of David City on Thursday at the Scouts Triangular.
Fairbury registered their highest hitting percentage as a team in the game with a .302 average. Huss had a team-high in that department with a .500 average to go along with her six kills. Lierman led the team with seven kills.

Sophomore Leah Mach set the tone with team high’s in aces (4) and kills (7) in Fairbury’s 25-16, 25-19 sweep of Sutton at the David City Triangular on Thursday.
With the victory Fairbury has now won six of their last seven games, which puts their record at 13-8. They’ll play at the four-team Falls City Invite on Saturday that features Tri County and Diller-Odell.

In the Griffins first game of the triangular, Diller-Odell was nearly perfect on serve receive, recording only one error in 33 attempts in their 25-19, 25-17 win over Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer.
Libero Kyleigh Barnts received a team-high 14 serves. She added a team-best six digs.
Diller-Odell juniors Mackenzie Vitosh and Emily Swanson combined for 18 of the team’s 28 kills.

Diller-Odell setter Addison Heidemann led the team in not only assists (20) in Thursday’s 25-26, 25-19 victory over Pawnee City, but the sophomore led her team in aces (5) and digs (7) in the match.
Mackenzie Vitosh put down a team-best nine kills and tied for a team-best 11 serve receptions.
Diller-Odell improved their season record to 16-5 with their two victories at the triangular.
Meridian 2 High Plains 0
An excellent night at the service line and a more than sufficient offensive attack on Tuesday led the Mustangs to one of their best outings this season on paper at their home triangular.
Meridian’s Halle Pribyl led Meridian to their 25-11, 25-9 victory with a team-high 12 kills via a .579 hitting percentage. The attacking efficiency was the second-highest mark for Pribyl this season. She now has recoded double digit kills in 16 of the team’s 17 matches.
The Mustangs recorded 13 aces in the match as a team. Pribyl led the team with five while Andi Kort tallied four.
Meridian 2 Hampton 0
Meridian put forth a similar effort as they did in the High Plains game, winning the contest 25-9, 25-22. Halle Pribyl had her highest kill total in a two-set match with 19 in the game.
Kezia Connealy tallied three of the team’s four aces and had a team-high four digs.
With the two sweeps at their home triangular on Tuesday, Meridian has now won all 10 of their victories by way of a sweep. 
Thayer Central 3 Sutton 0
The Lady Titans secured their fourth consecutive win after losing their first game last week in a home contest with Sutton. Thayer Central swept Sutton 25-20, 25-12, 25-9.
Blue Hill 3 Thayer Central 2
Fourth-ranked Class C-2 Blue Hill defeated Class C-2 No. 2 Thayer Central in a five set battle 25-23, 25-16, 18-25, 13-25, 15-12 at home.
The Bobcats senior duo of Emily Meyer and Kacey Allen combined for 29 kills. Blue Hill also thrived at the service line, recording 12 aces as team, led Meyer’s three aces.
Thayer Central now holds a 19-2 record heading into Thursday’s match against Class C-2 No. 3 Superior.

Meridian swept the Dragons 25-23, 26-24 at their home triangular on Thursday.
