    Tom Waldo of DeWitt has been selected as a candidate for Homecoming king at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
    Waldo, a senior agricultural economics major, is the son of Lee and Joni Waldo.

    Freshman Logan Larson earned a blue ribbon in swine showmanship, a blue ribbon on his Poland China barrow and a blue on his X-bred barrow.  Logan's market gilt received a purple ribbon.

    Tri County FFA chapter is pleased to announce that DuPont Pioneer donated $1,500 toward the Chapter’s “Teaching Ag Sciences - A Hands-On Approach” project as part of the DuPont Pioneer sponsorship program.

  • Tri County Celebrates Homecoming

    Tri County High School’s annual homecoming will take place on Friday, September 15. Pregame activities will begin at 5:00 p.m. behind the school in the elementary playground area. Kickoff against High Plains will be at 6:30 p.m. Homecoming candidates will be introduced at halftime and the 2017 Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned immediately after the game.

  • TriCounty FFA Hosts Ag Orientation Night

    The Tri County FFA Officers hosted an Ag Orientation Night for eighth and ninth graders on August 22nd in the TC Ag Education Department. President Tif Pearson welcomed the students and their parents. Advisor Dave Barnard then addressed upcoming events and opportunities.

    Riley Knust and Bailey Waltke attended the Future Business Leaders of America National Leadership Conference (NLC) in Anaheim, California. The young men left Nebraska on Tuesday, June 27 and returned on Monday, July 3rd.

    The Tri County FFA members had a busy weekend helping celebrate the Plymouth 125th Anniversary. The Chapter cooperated with the Plymouth Vet Clinic in hosting a Petting Zoo, worked the Little Tuggers tractor pull and helped park cars for the cannon firing and re enactment on Saturday. The members constructed a float for the Sunday parade downtown.

    The National FFA Organization announced the 2017 American Degree recipients this week. Tri County FFA Chapter had three members earn the coveted national award.

    Seven members of the Tri County FFA Chapter attended the 2017 State Chapter Officer Leadership Training at Aurora May 26-27.  The leadership conference is hosted by the Nebraska State FFA Officers.
