Diller-Odell 36 HTRS 26 – Subdistrict D1-2 Semifinal, Tuesday
Junior Emily Swanson scored her second-highest total of the season (14) in Diller-Odell’s win over third-seeded HTRS. She was 6-of-12 shooting from the field. Diller-Odell forced 31 turnovers in the game.
Johnson-Brock 45 Diller-Odell 32 – Subdistrict D1-2 Championship, Thursday
The Griffins were stymied by the Eagles for the second time this season in large part due to a 4-of-17 shooting night from 3-point range. Emily Swanson led the team in scoring once again with 11 points. 
Syracuse 44 Fairbury 32 – Subdistrict C1-1 Semifinal, Wednesday
Sara Huss recorded her 13th double double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds in Fairbury’s 12-point loss. The Jeffs led 7-5 after the first quarter but were outscored 14-5 in the second frame of the contest.
Southern 47 Tri County 41 – Subdistrict C2-2 Semifinal, Tuesday
Shaylee Niemeyer scored a career-high 22 points in her final game as a Trojan. She was 5-of-6 from 3-point range. Assist-to-turnover ratio proved to be the difference as Southern tallied 10 assists, five turnovers compared to Tri County’s 14 turnovers and three assists.
Superior 56 Thayer Central 44 – Subdistrict C2-3 Semifinal, Wednesday
Thayer Central finished the season with a school record 13 wins and a 13-9 record. The Titans led 12-8 after the first quarter but the Wildcats ensued by outscoring Thayer Central 24-9 in the second quarter.
Heartland 45 Meridian 40 – Subdistrict D1-3 Semifinal, Tuesday
Twice as many turnovers as assists (20-10) and 33 percent shooting from the field (16-of-49) was the recipe for Meridian’s five-point loss to Heartland. Josiee Sobotka hit double digits in scoring for the 21st time this past winter with 16 points in the loss.
Falls City 50 Wilber-Clatonia 33 – Subdistrict C1-1, Tuesday
Wilber-Clatonia senior Shaylee Bloom ended her basketball career with her fifth-highest point total, scoring nine points (4-of-7) during Tuesday’s loss. The Wolverines were outscored 33-10 in the first half.
