Wilber-Clatonia braved the cold temperatures and misty weather to participate in the SNC tournament on Saturday in Utica.
In the opening contest for the Wolverines, W-C lost 3-12 against Milford. Freshman Claire Thompson, senior Katie Schroder and junior Alexis Tachovsky each recorded an RBI in the game.
Schroeder recorded her first homerun of the season against the Eagles.
Rylee Sand and Tachovsky each had a double in the game.
Tia Kreshel had two strikeouts on the mound for W-C.
The Wolverines then faced Fillmore Central in the fifth place game and came away with a 13-10 win. Schroeder had three RBI while Sand had two. Topanga Rosentreader had a triple in the contest. Kreshel again on the mound recorded two more strikeouts, giving her 46 for the season.
The game on Monday for W-C to face Fairbury was cancelled.
