The 2017-2018 basketball season had its ups and downs for Meridian girl's – mostly ups -- and even though the Mustangs failed to make a state appearance in Class D-1 after a 20-6 season, the school's record book will show that it was one of the greatest offensive seasons in school history.

“The future is already here — it’s just not very evenly distributed.” William Gibson

As you may know, this is the future. Here in the world of tomorrow, we newspaper writers find ourselves writing things that those old timey newspaper guys would never have dreamed.
