Steele City Looking For Demonstrators

The Steele City Flea Market and Tractor Show is looking for individuals or groups that would like to demonstrate old time skills or crafts.  The Jefferson County Historical Society would like to add additional heritage demonstrations to the event.  The celebration currently has demonstrations in blacksmithing, cutting wood shingle and making native lumber at the sawmill.  All Historical demonstrations are welcome provided they are safe and can follow the COVID rules.  If you have a demonstration for the event, please contact Juliann Endorf at 402-446-7486.
Hillside Stock Ranch will be providing wagon rides both days thanks to Kirk Schroeder. Kirk will once again have his team of white mules and high wheel wagon at the event. Rides will be given in the downtown area from midmorning to midafternoon.
The Historical Society is planning to have 3 of the historical building open for viewing and tours.  Including the Liberty Stable, Blacksmith Shop and Bank.  They would also like to remind everyone that Flea Market Vendors are needed including those serving food.  Contact the Depot at 402-729-5131.
