1892The town of Jansen was incorporated with Conrad Bruer chairman of its trustees, D. Lewis treasurer, J.A. Thiessen clerk and A. L. Gibson marshal.1922All depositors were paid off in full when the Goodrich Bros. Bank of Fairbury closed. Its associate, the Fairbury Savings Bank, was taken over by the First National Bank. W.H.
