In Jefferson County CourtWilliam Vieselmeyer, age 28, of Fairbury, appeared in Jefferson County Court via webcam on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. He is charged with assault by strangulation or suffocation, a class 3A felony, and third degree domestic assault, a class 1 misdemeanor. The defendant was arrested on April 27, 2023.Gerald Ackerman, age 66, was sentenced to one year of probation in Jefferson County Court on May 10. He was originally charged with possession of methamphetamine, a class 4 felony, but the charge was later amended to attempted possession, a class 1 misdemeanor.Nathan D. Imes, age 40, of Fairbury, failed to appear for Jefferson County Court on May 10. He was scheduled to be sentenced for driving under a suspended license. A warrant was issued for his arrest.James R. Blanton, age 47, of Fairbury, was fined $100 in Jefferson County Court for violating a protection order, a class 1 misdemeanor; $75 for driving under a suspended license, a class 3 misdemeanor; and $25 for driving without a valid registration, also a class 3 misdemeanor. This case dates back to 2019. In a separate case, Blanton was fined $75 for driving under a suspended license and $25 for driving without a valid registration. This case dates back to 2020.In Gage County CourtGregory L. Louis, age 38, of Wymore, was charged with two counts of third-degree assault. He was sentenced to one year jail for each count, sentences to run concurrently.In Gage County District CourtDavina S. Morgan, age 39, of Wymore is charged with delivery of a controlled substance, a class 2 felony punishable by up to 50 years in prison, and possession of a controlled substance, a class 4 felony. In accordance with the plea agreement, she pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and the other charges were dismissed. Morgan was sentenced to two years of probation.Randall L. Pohlman, age 44, of Wymore, was originally charged with possession of a controlled substance, a class 4 felony; unlawful acts relating to drugs, a class 3 misdemeanor; possession of one ounce or less of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, both infractions. In accordance with the plea agreement, Pohlman plead guilty to unlawful acts relating to drugs and a reduced charge of attempt of a class 4 felony, which is a class 1 misdemeanor. The remaining charges were dismissed.Elizabeth P. Sayers, age 20, of Wymore, is charged with possession of a controlled substance, a class 4 felony. The defendant pleaded guilty and will be attending drug.Rylee J. Meints, age 25, of Wymore, was originally charged with distribution of a controlled substance, a class 2A felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
