In Jefferson County CourtShayann D. Burden, age 24, appeared in Jefferson County Court on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, via webcam from Lincoln. She pleaded not guilty to shoplifting, a class 2 misdemeanor. The defendant remains free on a $1,500 (10 percent) bond at this time.Macon J. Kaer, age 36, of Fairbury, was arraigned in Jefferson County Court on April 26. He is charged with driving without an operator’s license, a class 3 misdemeanor.In Gage County CourtCeeara N. Evans, age 37, of Blue Springs, pleaded No Contest to trespassing. Sentencing is scheduled for July 7.Robert E. Boesiger, age 41, of Cortland, pleaded No Contest to driving without proof of insurance. A hearing is scheduled for June 1.Hickory Donithan, age 40, of Wymore, was fined $300 for possession of marijuana and $100 for possession of drug paraphernalia, both infractions.Phillip D. Roberts, age 55, of Wymore, is charged with possession of a controlled substance, a felony. The case was bound over to Gage County District Court. Another hearing is scheduled for June 21.In Gage County District CourtNicholas J. Buss, age 37, of DeWitt.
