In Jefferson County CourtDavid Loren Ebke, age 60, of Fairbury, appeared in Jefferson County Court on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. Ebke is charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, a class 1D felony possession of a controlled substance, a class 4 felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, an infraction. After a preliminary hearing, it was determined there was sufficient evidence that a felony had taken place and the case was bound over to District Court.Justin B. Cribbs, age 44, of Diller, plead guilty to second degree criminal trespass. He was fined $50.Warrants Issued in Jefferson CountyChristian A. Papaelias, age 19, of Wichita Falls, Texas, failed to appear for court in Jefferson County Court on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. He is charged with possession of one ounce or less of marijuana, an infraction that carries a $300 fine. A warrant was issued for his arrest. Bond was set at $2,500 (10 percent).Cameron J. Williams, age 21, of Monticello, Mississippi, failed to appear for court. He is charged with driving without an operator’s license, a class 3 misdemeanor punishable by up to three months in jail and a $500 fine, and driving without proof of insurance, a class 2 misdemeanor. Judge Linda Bauer issued a warrant and set bond at $2,500 (10 percent).Jonathan E. Aldrete, age 30, failed to appear for court. He is charged with driving without an operator’s license, a class 3 misdemeanor. Judge Bauer issued a warrant and set bond at $1,500 (10 percent).Clayton M. Welch, of Omaha, age 21, failed to appear for court. He is charged with resisting arrest and obstructing a peace officer, both class 1 misdemeanors. A warrant was issued and bond set at $5,000 (10 percent).In Gage County CourtJaron M. Hormann, age 43, was originally charged with two counts of terroristic threats, class 3A felonies; as well as three counts of disturbing the peace, one count of reckless driving and one count of criminal mischief, all class 3 misdemeanor. In accordance with the plea agreement, one of the felony charges was reduced to third degree assault. The second felony and two of the three disturbing the peace charges were dismissed. Hormann pleaded No Contest to the remaining charges. Sentencing is scheduled for October 6, 2023.Austin L.
