Two Suspects from Plymouth Arrested During Narcotics Investigation

Two individuals from Plymouth were arrested by Beatrice Police Sunday evening, December 14, as the result of an ongoing narcotics trafficking investigation. According to the arrest affidavit, while “monitoring a distribution-level quantity of methamphetamine being transported from Columbia, Missouri to Beatrice, Nebraska,” law enforcement was informed by a confidential information of a pending transaction.The vehicle conducting the transport was reported to be a blue Nissan Sentra. At approximately 11:17 p.m., the vehicle was reportedly observed entering the southern city limit of Beatrice and a traffic stop was initiated by another Beatrice Police Officer after observing the vehicle fail to signal a lane change.The occupants of the vehicle were identified as Dustin A. Anderson, age 47, and Addison D. Wilson, age 22, both of Plymouth. The suspects had active warrants out of Jefferson and Gage Counties. Both individuals were placed under arrest. According to the affidavit, “Once at the Gage County Detention Center, “a foreign object was observed to be concealed within the female utilizing an X-ray body scanner. The female consented to being transported to Beatrice Community Hospital to have the object removed by medical personnel. The object was identified to be a plastic baggie containing a large amount of a white, crystalline substance that I recognized to be methamphetamine. During the investigation, it was learned that the female had concealed the contraband shortly after the traffic stop had been initiated by Beatrice Police.”The white, crystalline substance field tested positive for the presumptive identification of methamphetamine and, per the affidavit, yielded a weight of approximately 64 grams, or 2.2 ounces.The substance will be submitted to the Nebraska State Patrol Crime Lab for identification and weight.
