Monday Fire Near Jansen

Fairbury, Jansen and Plymouth firefighters were called to the scene of a fire approximately 1.5 miles northeast of Jansen that threatened multiple structures on Monday, March 9, at approximately 5:30 p.m. The blaze was contained within an hour and there were no reports of injuries or damage to nearby homes.
