Allan Zenger
Allan Zenger, of Reynolds, Nebraska, passed away on April 4, 2026. He was 75 years old. Cremation was chosen and there will be no public services at this time. Online Condolences may be left for the family at www.gerdesmeyerfh.com.
Allan was born on December 3, 1950 and passed away on April 4, 2026. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle.
Allan found great joy in life’s simple pleasures — sitting on the swing outdoors, taking in the beauty of nature, and going for rides with Shirley in their UTV. He loved camping, making lasting memories with his family, visiting the casino, scratching lottery tickets, and sharing stories from his lifelong career as an agronomy applicator. Above all, Allan was defined by his unwavering love for his family. He cherished every moment spent with them. Though his presence will be deeply missed, his love and the memories he created will live on in their hearts forever.
Allan is preceded in death by his loving wife Shirley; his father John Zenger; brothers Gary and Mike Zenger; parents-in-law Earl and BernaDean Dorman; brothers-in-law Jim Stanton and Roger Schmidt; sisters-in-law Denice Zenger and Carol Blas; nephew Eric Stanton, as well as nieces Tami Sipek and Heather Batte.
Allan is survived by his daughter Michelle (Ryan) Znamenacek; granddaughters Amanda (Nathan) Doss, Michaela Bartels (boyfriend Cody), Kaylee (Dustin) Schweitzer; grandsons Lane Znamenacek (girlfriend Jasmine) and Jeffrey Znamenacek. He was a very proud great-grandfather of 9 great-grandchildren which were his pride and joy: Briella, Emelio, Emmylou, Leo, Sammy, Emery, Brexlynn, Maddox, and Maizy; he also leaves behind his mother Oleta Zenger; brother Richard (Sheril) Zenger; sisters Debbie Stanton, and Karen (Ron) Nutz, and many nieces and nephews.
A private celebration will be held to celebrate his life and the many beautiful moments he shared with his family.
