A Special Talk

A Special Talk—Jefferson County Commissioner Mark Schoenrock was invited to address students at Diller-Odell High School on Friday, September 9. A retired Army officer, Schoenrock discussed his time in the military and, in particular, his experiences on September 11, 2001. Schoenrock was present at the Pentagon in Washington D.C. when a plane piloted by terrorists crashed into the building. Schoenrock also talked about how an encounter with Robert Kennedy inspired his to enter the military.
