The Silver Lake Mustang football team defeated the Meridian Mustangs 52-19 on Oct. 17.For Meridian, Jayton Jones was 7-of-18 for 95 yards passing while Braxton Davis had an eight-yard-touchdown pass.Top receivers included Kyan Sones (50 yards), Landon Peterson (21 yards), Maddox Haake (21 yards), Jones (eight yards) and Jakob McClement (three yards).Top rusher was Jones with 60 yards on 17 carries while Haake had 46 yards rushing on nine carries.Jones was leading tackler with nine solo, three assisted stops for Meridian and Sones had five solo and five assisted tackles.Jones had two rushing TD’s and one touchdown reception.
