Arraignments in Jefferson County Court

Several defendants were arraigned in Jefferson County Court on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Linda Bauer was the presiding judge. Ryan C. Cline, age 41, of Colorado, is charged with DUI (Driving Under the Influence), a class W misdemeanor punishable by seven to 60 days in jail, a $500 fine and his license can be revoked for six months. He is also charged with refusing to submit to a breath test, a class 5 misdemeanor punishable by a $500 fine, and possession of an open alcohol container, an infraction that carries a $100 fine.The defendant pleaded not guilty. He is represented by attorney Gregory Kratz. Another hearing is scheduled for February 5, 2025. Harlee D. Kaderabek, age 26, of Daykin, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, a class 4 felony punishable by up to two years in prison, nine to 12 months of post-release supervision and a $10,000 fine. She is also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, an infraction that carries a $100 fine.The defendant requested court-appointed counsel and Public Defender Scott Gropp was assigned to represent her. Another hearing is scheduled for January 22, 2025. Jason Kennedy, age 50, of Fairbury, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, a class 4 felony punishable by up to two years in prison, nine to 12 months of post-release supervision and a $10,000 fine. He is also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, an infraction that carries a $100 fine.The defendant requested court-appointed counsel and Public Defender Scott Gropp was assigned to represent him. Another hearing is scheduled for January 22, 2025.
