Landsharks Pick Up Win Over Hebron
Fairbury Landsharks Seniors went 1-1 last week with a solid home victory of 4-1 against the Hebron Seniors. The Landsharks were led by Jamison Runge going two-for-two with one RBI, one run scored and one walk.

Fairbury made the most of the opportunities on the basepads coming away with five steals as a team with Brodie Prellwitz, Jakolbe Atkins, Blayne Schelbitzki, Ethan Smith and Jamison Runge. Smith and Atkins along with Auggie Judd each contributed one hit as well, Judd’s one hit went for a sliding double.
Dome Joe was on the mound for Fairbury going six-and-two-thirds innings striking out eight and only one walk.
Fairbury would lose 0-5 on the road against Nebraska City on June 22 bringing the Landsharks record to (6-13) as they’ll be looking to bounce back at home on Wednesday, June 28th against Lincoln High.
Sutton Knocks Off Tri County

Tri County Senior Legion went 1-2 on the week suffering a tough 1-4 loss to Sutton at home on June 21, but bounced back with a resounding 14-4 victory on the road against Wymore the next day, June 22.
Against Geneva, Tri County came up just short in the offensive shootout losing 11-12 on June 23.
Tri County now (14-3) were home for the two of the three games this week as they hosted Tecumseh on Tuesday, Wilber on Wednesday, and then will be on the road against Hebron this Thursday (June 29).

Wilber Posts Tight Win
The Wilber Legion Post 101 was able to pull out all the stops in the defensive battle against the UBC Badgers on June 23 securing the 3-1 victory.
Tyson Kreshel was on the mound for Wilber allowing zero runs on zero hits striking out eight and walking one. Nick Jacobson led the team going two-for-three with one being a double. Coy Rosentreader, Carson Radcliff, Jack Zimmerman, and Ozzie Smith contributed one hit with Smith’s hit being a double, and drove in his one RBI.

Hebron Drops To Landsharks
The Hebron Seniors suffered a tough loss of 1-4 on the road to the Fairbury Senior Landsharks despite leading the game in hits nine to six to their opponents.
Cameron Harding, Jordan Mariska, Wyatt Ozenbaugh each went two-for-three, as Jaron Norder, Grant Wiedel, and Jacob Beavers went one-for-three as well.
Hebron Seniors now stand at (4-8) and went against Wymore on Tuesday and will host Tri County Thursday, June 29.
Tough Week For Seniors
It was a tough week for the Wymore Seniors as they went 0-2, losing 4-9 on the road against Geneva on June 21 and then at home against Tri County, losing 4-14 on June 22.
