Carol Kriesel

Carol Diane Kriesel February 1, 1968 – September 10, 2024 Carol Diane Kriesel, 56, of San Jacinto, California, passed away on September 10, 2024. Carol was born on February 1, 1968, in New York, to Erwin and Sally Kriesel. She grew up in both Nebraska and California, and graduated from Vista High School in 1986. She continued her education at Palomar College, where she earned an Associate’s Degree in General Education. Carol was confirmed in 1984 at Gladstone Church, then known as Zion United Church of Christ (now Zion Countryside Church), where she will also be laid to rest. For many years, Carol worked with the San Jacinto Unified School District, where she cared for students in the after-school program. She will be remembered for her kind heart and quiet strength. While living in California, she frequently checked in with family members in Nebraska, keeping family ties across the miles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Erwin and Sally. Carol is survived by her siblings, Frances and Kenneth, along with extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. Carol’s life was a blessing to those who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. A graveside service in Carol’s honor will be held at Zion Countryside Church Cemetery on Sunday, October 12, at 1:30 p.m
