Christmas at Crystal Returns
With Thanksgiving concluded, setting up of the popular “Christmas at Crystal Springs” light display will also conclude this weekend.
The event became an instant holiday tradition in 2021, when Fairbury City Councilperson Brian Schmidt first proposed “Christmas at Crystal,” a drive-through Christmas light display at Crystal Springs Park. People drove through Crystal Springs Park at night, passing lighted tableaus of holiday scenes. Each yearly display has been bigger and more elaborate than the last.
During setup and the display, there will be no camping allowed at Crystal Springs. Alternate camping is available with full hookups at:
