Cindy Kendall

Cindy Kendall died Tuesday, October 29, 2024, in Beatrice after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born in Lincoln on September 10, 1950, to Jim and Barbara Krantz.
After living in England, Boston, MA and in Florida with her family as a child, she graduated from Crete High School.
She married Roy Kendall on August 16, 1969, at Zion Lutheran Church near Harbine where they were members most of their life. They lived on a farm near Plymouth and spent many hours in the dairy barn together. They are the parents of Christina (Dave) Lyons, Larry (Keri) Kendall and Michael Kendall. Their grandchildren are Elyse (Braxton) and Lucas Lyons, Courtney (Nick) Kendall, Eli and Cole Miller, Nick Kothe, and Dante Ward. Their great-grandchildren are Carter Rawson and Averie Davis.
Cindy is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins including Jessica Rand and Troy (Jennifer) Kendall. Sister-in-laws Dawn Kendall and Betty (Duane) Lytle. She had many cherished friends she had throughout her life including Judy (Gene) Rosenburg and their family.
Before she became ill, Cindy was happiest in her kitchen at the farm where she made homemade cinnamon rolls, soups, casseroles, cookies, cherry cheesecake, the always popular butter finger dessert and many other wonderful meals. She enjoyed feeding anyone who came to her table.
Cindy cared deeply for her family and friends and was always willing to help in whatever way she could.
Her care providers at Kensington and Whispering Winds will remember her joyous disposition and her love for singing and hugs.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, stepfather; Mert Beeman, brothers; Mike (Geri) Krantz, and Tom Beeman.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Her ashes will be interred at Cub Creek Cemetery near Jansen following the service. A memorial has been established in her memory to the family’s choice for future designation with the funeral home in charge.
