His former attorney, Dustin Garrison, has withdrawn and the defendant has opted to represent himself. Coleman is facing five charges: robbery, a class 2 felony; first degree assault, also a class 2 felony; possession of a stolen firearm, a class 2A felony; operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest, a class 4 felony; and first offense reckless driving, a class 3 misdemeanor.Warrants Issued in Jefferson County CourtRegina E. Caudy, age 47, was scheduled to be in Jefferson County Court on Thursday, February 2, 2023, but failed to appear. Linda Bauer, the presiding judge, issued a warrant for her arrest. Caudy is charged with shoplifting with a value of less than $500, a class 2 misdemeanor. A warrant was previously issued for Caudy in Jefferson County District Court on February 2, 2023, after failing to appear for sentencing.In Jefferson County CourtBrian R. Sponabel, age 64, of Vernon, Texas, was arraigned in arraigned in Jefferson County Court on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Linda Bauer was the presiding judge. The defendant is charged with criminal mischief resulting property damage valued between $500 and $1,500.Lindsay R. Pingel, age 44, if Fairbury, was arraigned in Jefferson County Court on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. The defendant is charged with terroristic threats, a class 3A felony.Tanner R. Sell, age 37, of Fairbury, was originally charged with DUI (Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs), first offense, a class W misdemeanor, and unlawful acts relating to drugs, a class 3 misdemeanor. In accordance with a plea agreement, he pleaded Guilty to attempted possession of a controlled substance, a class 1 misdemeanor. The remaining charge was dismissed.Troy A. Milam, age 65, of Fairbury, was arraigned in Jefferson County Court on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. He is charged with terroristic threats, a class 3A felony.In Gage County CourtTanner R. Sell, age 37, of Fairbury, was originally charged with DUI, a class W misdemeanor, and transporting a child while intoxicated, a class 1 misdemeanor. In addition, Sell was charged with three infractions: possession of one ounce or less of marijuana, possessing an open container of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia.In accordance with a plea agreement, Sell pleaded No Contest to DUI and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.
