Dale Marion Bowman

Dale Marion Bowman was born Oct. 11, 1932 near Reynolds, to Hubert and Sophia (Bodtke) Bowman. Dale passed away Dec. 9, in Hebron, at the age of 93.Dale was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church in Hubbell, Dec. 15, 1932, by Rev. Meyer. Dale attended school in Hebron and Hubbell, graduating from Hubbell High School in 1952. Dale then entered the U.S. Army Feb. 1953, and was honorably discharged Feb. 1955.Dale was united in marriage in 1955, and blessed with four children from this marriage, Raymond Lee, Jo Anne, Monte Dale, and Delores Kathleen.On Oct. 11, 1983, Dale was united in marriage to Loetta (Mahaffey) Swanson at Grace Lutheran Church in Hebron, by Rev. Allen, bringing to this union a daughter Jeannie and son Jack.Dale worked 31 years at Reinke’s in Deshler (1961-1992). Dale purchased Hebron Salvage in 1977.Dale was preceded in death by: infant son Monte Dale, wife Loetta, step-son Jack Swanson, parents Hubert and Sophia, and his grandparents Herbet and Clara Bowman, and John and Helen Bodtke and dog Princess. He is survived by his son Raymond (Marj) Bowman, daughters Jo Anne Vostrez (friend Roy Armstrong), Kathy (Alan) Stigge, and Step-daughter Jeannie Shipley. Grandchildren: Adam and Andrew J. Bowman, Jocelyn (Brit) Schroeder, Jaimie (Ryan) Burke, Brian (Kim) Vostrez, Brent (Michelle) Vostrez, Amber Moody, Mitchel Vostrez, Micheal (Trisha) Buchli, Beth Steele, Chirs Buchli, Matthew (Jessica) Hein. Step-grandchildren: LeAnn Forbis, James Swanson, Jeanne (Tim) Casebolt, Jack Swanson Jr. Great-grandchildren: Sophie and Caprice Buchli; Jason Johnston; Aden, Shane, and Lauren Vostrez; Hillary Skye Moody; Lily, Sophie and Remie Buchli; Hayleigh, Elise, Johnalee, Kennedy, and Berret Burke; Harper and Chet Schroeder; Sadie Steele and Noah Buchli; Cheyenne (Austin) Packett; Ashley, Sean, and Zoe Swanson; Camie and Gia Swanson; Great-Great-Grandchildren: Lia Johnston; Addaline and Abel Packett.Funeral Service were Dec. 14 at the Hebron Bible Church.
