Dates Set for “Stuff the Cruiser”

Dates have been set for Jefferson County’s annual “Stuff the Cruiser” holiday gift collection event. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Fairbury Rural Fire Department, Ambulance District 33 and the Blue Valley Community Action Partnership will be collecting gifts for children in our community.
A sheriff’s cruiser or emergency vehicle will be parked at the Fairbury Walmart parking lot on these days:
Friday, December 5th— 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, December 6th— 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, December 13th— 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Items especially needed include: baby and infant toys, age appropriate toys , stuffed animals, dolls, Matchbox or Hot wheel cars, games, footballs , basketballs, volleyballs, Legos , remote control toys , art supplies, teen gifts —body sprays and deodorant and lotions, blankets, nail art and nail polish, barbie dolls and clothes and accessories, DVD movies, Bluetooth ear pods, wireless headphones.
The Gift Giveaway/Shopping Event will be held on Monday, December 15th, at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds 4H Building. Contact Blue Valley Community Action in Fairbury for more information.
