Drivers, Fans Both Win At Jefferson County Speedway
On Saturday, August 13, was Fan Appreciation and Kids night at the Jefferson County Speedway. The track bought several prizes and more were donated. They were given away during the intermission.
In the Restricted Winged Micros A Feature the winner was Cale Lagroon of Salina, Kansas. Second place was Micah Becker of Holton, Kansas with Gavyn Bolt of Manhattan, Kansas was third.
The 600cc Winged Micros A Feature was won by Dominic White of Plainview with Todd Odle of Glen Elder, Kansas finishing second. Locally, Cody Berkenmeier of Fairbury was sixth.
Ava Gropp of Lincoln won the A Feature in the 600cc Non-Winged Micros division. Jesse Pate of Auburn was second and Matthew Laflin of Beatrice third.
Nash Edwards of Marysville, Kansas won the Junior Sprints A Feature with Cooper Canady of Holton, Kansas picking up second place.
Jesse Pate of Auburn, Kansas won the Sportsman Micros A Feature while Laike Imm of Phillipsburg, Kansas was second. Taylor Huss of Fairbury finished ninth.
Claiming first place in the Sport Compact A Feature was Ronda Mewes of Blue Springs. Dawson Kubes of Fairbury was fifth and Brandon Carmichael of Blue Springs was sixth.
