Esther Marie Roesler

Esther Marie Roesler was born to Otto Conrad Jordening and Ida Anna Marie Schwisow on October 20, 1935 at Powell, Neb., and passed away from an acute illness on May 25,2023 at Thayer County Health Services in Hebron, Neb., at the age of 87 years, 7 months, and 5 days. She was one of four children in the family.Esther grew up on a farm in rural Daykin. After graduating from high school, she married Edward Duane Roesler of Tobias, Neb., on March 7, 1954 when he returned home from the Korean war. They were blessed with four children.Ed and Esther purchased their dairy farm in rural Western, in 1961. There she resided as a housewife raising children and working on the farm alongside Edward. Esther & Ed were members of Zion Lutheran Church Of Tobias.Esther loved traveling with Ed, bowling, playing games, and activities with her family.Esther was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; husband Ed; son-in-law, Bob Bartley; and granddaughter Jill Roesler.She is survived by children, Kay Bartley, Gregg (Maurene) Roesler, Gwen (Jim) Reiha, Brad (Geri) Roesler; grandchildren, Joshua (Aryn) Bartley, Luke Bartley, Jacob (Allison) Bartley, Amanda Roesler, Joseph Pape, Emily Pape, Leah Pape, Chelsea (Darin) Engle, Shane (Katie) Roesler; greatgrandchildren, Reagan and Landon Bartley, Lydia and Bo Bartley, Ashlyn Pape, Kleo Pape, Aubree, Easton and Bailee Engle, Rhett, Colt, and Banks Roesler; and sister-in-law Helen Jordening.
