Fairbury Woman Pleads Guilty,Sentenced To Time Served

Courtney Nicholson, 35, of Fairbury, was sentenced to 365 day in jail in Jefferson County Court on Wednesday, December 15, with credit for 396 days time served. She was released from custody that same day. Linda Bauer was the presiding judge.Nicholson was originally charged with first degree assault and use deadly weapon to commit a felony, both class 2 felonies subject to a possible penalty of up to 50 years in prison.
