“I am deeply honored to be named the head football coach at Fairbury,” said Johnson. “While this opportunity has arisen under unforeseen circumstances, and I extend my best wishes to Coach Savage, I am eager to embrace the responsibilities of this role. There is significant work ahead, and I have strong faith in the relationships I’ve already built with these student-athletes.”
Johnson said, “As I step into this position, numerous goals come to mind. However, my primary focus is to ensure our student-athletes experience a rewarding and enjoyable season, fostering a genuine desire to compete in every contest. I want our community to know the profound care I have for these young men, and I am committed to doing everything within my power to support their success both on and off the field.”
A formal introduction and parent meeting will be announced as soon as it is available.
