Gage County Arrests For Burglary, Trespassing, And Felony Out Of State

A tip from a citizen lead to the arrest of three people on multiple charges, including a felony out of state warrant.On Wednesday, May 28, at approximately 1:59 p.m., the Gage County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on Highway 77 outside of a farmhouse near West Oak Road, south of Beatrice.According to the sheriff's office, when deputies arrived, they discovered three people were at the scene. Two suspects, Arlen Wyrick, age 49, of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, and Alejandra Sotelo-Cline, age 52, of Prairieville, Louisiana were detained at the scene while the incident was investigated.A third suspect ran off upon the arrival of the deputies. Arlen Wyrick was arrested for burglary and trespassing, while Alejandra Sotelo-Cline was arrested for aiding and abetting burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia. A dog that was in the suspect’s vehicle was taken to the Beatrice Humane Society for care.Law enforcement reported that Items from the farmhouse were located in the suspect’s vehicle and also had been staged for taking by the burglary suspects.Assistance from the Beatrice Police Department was requested and their on duty K-9 officer and dog were dispatched to the scene. After the two suspects were taken to jail and their vehicle was towed from the scene, a deputy who was en route to a call in Blue Springs passed by the location and noticed a white male matching the description of the missing third suspect walking southbound on Highway 77 about a half mile from the residence that had burglarized.When the deputy stopped to investigate this subject, it was learned he had a felony warrant out of Louisiana. The suspect, Coby Angelle, age 51, of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, was taken to the Gage County Detention Center and booked into jail on the warrant.The investigation is ongoing.
