The Fairbury Cemetery Association encourages you to take the time during Memorial Day to honor our veterans and enjoy the newly paved streets made possible by the generous donations from those of you who take pride in our cemetery and community.We wish to thank the road committee for its hard work; the Lottman Construction crew for their extra effort to complete the work before Memorial Day; and to the financial supporters within and around our community whose generosity made this project possible.Family members, friends, and relatives interred in our cemetery would be proud of what we, as a progressive community, have done to beautify with pride their final resting place.Paving the three main arterial roads completes the first phase of the Association’s goals. With additional funding and contributions, we will now move into Phase 2, which includes paving the roads in the new, rapidly growing area; an area that you may already have reserved space for you or your family. It is our hope that, with your continuing support, this will also become a reality.With inflation and rising construction costs, funding is always a challenge. We are a 501(c)13 entity, and any contribution may be applied toward a federal tax deduction.
