Lincoln Man Faces Felony Drug Charge

A Lincoln man was arrested in Jefferson County on a felony drug charge.


Gary Allen Ingrao, age 45, was arrested Friday, March 13, 2026. He appeared in Jefferson County Court Wednesday morning, March 18, via webcam from the Jefferson County Law Enforcement Center.
No charges were yet on file but Ingrao was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, a class 2 felony punishable by one to 50 years in prison.


The defendant requested court-appointed counsel and attorney Benjamin Murray was appointed to defend him.


Ingrao remains in custody on a $1000,000 (10 percent) bond. Arraignment is scheduled for March 25.
This is not Ingrao’s first brush with the law. On January 20, 2021, he was sentenced in Gage County District Court to 36 months of probation after pleading no contest to possession of a controlled substance, a class 4 felony. His probation as later revoked and he was resentenced to 18 months in prison.


On June 16, 2021, Ingrao was sentenced in Gage County District Court to three years in prison for possession of alprazolam (commonly known by the brand name Xanax- a schedule 4 drug), a class 3A felony, and two years for possession of the possession of money used to violate the Uniform Controlled Substances Act, a class 4 felony.
