Man in Jefferson County Court for DUI Is Arrested for Same Charge in Gage County

A Beatrice man arraigned on a DUI (Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol) in Jefferson County Court was then arrested in court on a Gage County warrant for the same crime.
Rodger A Keehn, age 40, appeared for arraignment in Jefferson County Court the morning of Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Linda Bauer was the presiding judge.
Keehn is charged with DUI with a high test (over .15 blood alcohol level), a class w misdemeanor punishable by seven to 60 days in jail, a $500 fine and license revocation of one year.
Another hearing was scheduled for September 19.
After the case was adjourned, deputies approached the defendant and his attorney, Dustin Garrison, and informed him there was an outstanding warrant out of Gage County, also for DUI. Keehn was taken into custody at that time and transported to the Gage County Jail.
