Odell Drug Case Bound Over to District Court

The case of Tammy S. Wicklander, age 58, of Odell, was bound over to Gage County District Court on January 20, 2023.
Gage County Deputies executed a search warrant on Wicklander’s residence in Odell on October 14, 2022, at approximately 6:16 a.m. According to the deputy that filled out the arrest affidavit, “During a search of Wicklander’s bedroom, a short, cut blue straw with white residue was located in a nightstand drawer. I am aware that straw’s (sic) are commonly used for snorting controlled substances. A small amount of residue in the straw pie-tested positive for methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance. Inside of a drawer of another nightstand was a small wooden case containing a ‘one-hitter’ marijuana pipe with, what is believed to be marijuana inside of it.”
Wicklander is charged with possession of methamphetamine, a class 4 felony punishable by two years in prison, nine to 12 months of post-release supervision and a $10,000 fine; unlawful acts relating to drugs, a class 3 misdemeanor punishable by three months in jail and a $500 fine; possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, an infraction punishable by a $300 fine; and possession of drug paraphernalia, an infraction punishable by a $100 fine.
The defendant is represented by attorney Timothy S. Noerrlinger.
Because one of the charges is a felony, the case was transferred to District Court. Arraignment is scheduled for February 8, 2023.
