Road in Gage County Remains Unfinished for 50 Years

By Gordon HopkinsA three-mile stretch of road south of Virginia in Gage County, which has remained unfinished for 50 years, has caused concerns among those who travel, or in some cases choose not to travel, on it. Those concerns were raised at a meeting of the Gage County Board of Supervisors the morning of Monday, January 23, 2023.

In 1973, nine miles of a 12-mile section of 162nd Road was paved.
