Search Warrant Leads to Three Arrests

A search warrant executed Saturday morning in Fairbury lead to three arrests on drug charges.
On March 9, 2024, at approximately 7:11 a.m., deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at a residence on 7th Street in Fairbury. This search warrant was related to a narcotics investigation into the occupants of the residence and the residence itself.

The sheriff’s office reported that, during the search, numerous items of contraband were seized. A total of three individuals were located within the residence when the warrant was served: Ronald John, age 57; Blanche Cain, age 62; and Troy John, age 54. All three were arrested at the scene and transported to the Jefferson County Jail, where they were booked in on the charges of possession of controlled substance (exceptionally hazardous), possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, unlawful acts relating to drugs, possession of deadly weapon by a prohibited person, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The case is still under investigation at this time.
