Third Earthquake Hits Nebraska-Kansas Border Area This Month

A magnitude 3.6 earthquake struck an area six miles southwest of Superior, in north central Jewell County, Kansas, at 7:04 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. The epicenter was just south of the Nebraska-Kansas border and could be felt in Nebraska, that is according to the U.S. Geological Survey.This is the second such earthquake in this area in a little over a week and the third in Kansas this month.
