Jeffs Face TitansThe Fairbury Lady Jeffs went 1-2 during the second week of September as they would be swept 0-3 against Thayer Central on Tuesday, September 10th. Then on Thursday, September 12th at Malcolm for triangular action as they would lose the first game 1-2 against Milford, but were able to refocus and get a 2-1 victory against Elmwood-Murdock. Then on Saturday, September 14th Fairbury will be at the Malcolm invite. Titans SweepThe Thayer Central lady Titans stay undefeated as they sweep up all competition in the second week of September as they would sweep Fairbury 3-0 against Fairbury on Tuesday, September 10th and then on the road would sweep 3-0 on Thursday, September 12th against Heartland. Thayer Central hopes to carry the momentum into the next week as they’ll be on the road against Sandy Creek on Tuesday, September 17th. W-C DominatesThe W-C Lady Wolverines swept on the road at the Freeman triangular on Tuesday, September 10th against Freeman and Johnson County Central. With a week break, W-C will look to regroup at the Fairbury invite on Saturday, September 21st. T.C. 2-1 In Recent ActionThe Tri County Lady Trojans get onto a three game win-streak after a 2-1 victory against Cornerstone Christian, while then sweeping two straight victories with a 2-0 win against Lewiston and 3-0 against Fillmore Central. Tri County will look to continue on with this momentum as they’ll be hosting Sutton Saturday, September 14th. Raiders Game Against Weeping WaterThe Southern Lady Raiders give a good fight, but fall 1-3 at home against Weeping Water on Thursday, September 12th. The first set would go 24-26 in favor to Weeping Water, Southern would battle back to get a 25-23 win, the third set would flip the score as it would go 23-25 and then in the fourth set Southern would fall 17-25.Southern will be hitting the road on the weekend as they will be at the H.T.R.S invite on Saturday, September 14th. Meridian Has Strong ShowingThe Meridian Lady Mustangs stay undefeated as they sweep up competition 2-0 on the road in triangular action against McCool Junction and Twin River on Thursday, September 12th. Meridian will be looking to the MUDECAS invite in the “A” division taking on Johnson-Brock on Monday, September 16th. Griffins Pick Up WinsThe Diller-Odell Lady Griffins push their win-streak onto four games as they sweep up Sacred Heart at home 3-0 on Tuesday, September 10th and then hit the road on Thursday, September 12th as they would sweep Lewiston 3-0. D-O looks to carry this momentum into the MUDECAS tournament in the “A” division as they’ll be facing Bruning-Davenport/Shickley on Monday, September 16th.
