Volleyball: Sub-District Preview

Southern will be at C2-3 Sub-District hosted by Yutan as they enter the tournament as #6 seed with a record of (6-19) going against #3 seed Central Catholic in the first round on Monday, October 28th. If able to win, the lady Raiders will move on to the semi-finals to then go against #2 seed Freeman on Tuesday, October 29th. Thayer Central will host the C2-7 Sub-District as the lady Titans hold the #1 seed with the record of (28-2) awaiting the winner of Doniphan-Trumbull and Wood River on Monday, October 28th. If successful in the semi-finals, Thayer Central will meet the winner of Centura or Maxwell in the C2-7 Sub-District final on Tuesday, October 29th. Wilber-Clatonia will be at Holdredge for the C1-9 Sub-District as the #6 seed taking on Central City on Monday, October 28th and if able to win will face Milford in the semi-finals on Tuesday, October 29th. The Fairbury Lady Jeffs will travel to Holdrege for the C1-9 Sub-District with a record of (20-11) entering as the #4 seed facing Gibbon on Monday, October 28th and if able to move on to semi-finals will face #1 seed Holdrege on Tuesday, October 29th. The Meridian Lady Mustangs enter the D2-4 Sub-District as the #1 seed with a record of (17-9) and await the winner of Lawrence-Nelson, and Hampton on Monday, October 28th. Tri County will host the D1-1 Sub-District as the lady Trojans enter as the #1 seed with a record of (19-11) awaiting the winner of Lourdes Central Catholic and Pawnee City on Monday, October 28th. The Diller-Odell lady Griffins will travel to Tri County for the Class D1-1 Sub-District as the #3 seed with a record of (16-11) facing the #2 seed Weeping Water on Monday, October 28th.
