Arthur Eisenhauer

Arthur Richard "Dick" Eisenhauer was born on November 1, 1937, in Blue Springs, NE, and passed away on February 19, 2024. A proud and dedicated milk delivery man, Dick spent his working years devoted to his family's dairy business, Eisenhauer Dairy, and later Roberts Dairy. Outside of work, Dick was a lover of reading, a dedicated viewer of the History Channel, and a fan of dining out. A 1957 graduate of Wymore High School, he was a lifelong learner who enjoyed expanding his knowledge. He was also known for his punctuality, always arriving extremely early to events. He was a connoisseur of black pepper and the best words of advice he could give anyone would be "there's always room for ice cream." Dick is survived by his daughters, Amanda (Shawn) Rogman and Sara (Chad) Meece; his son, John Eisenhauer (Jennifer Ambroz); grandchildren, Kat Lovell, Emma Eisenhauer, Gage Rogman, Baron Rogman, Morgan Ward, Jacob Ward, Jack Quaintance, Ellie Quaintance, Alex Meece, and Blake Meece; several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Marie (Achtemeier) Eisenhauer; brothers, Raymond, Don and Bob Eisenhauer, and sisters, Delores Preston, Evelyn Moore, and Mildred Trump. A celebration of Dick's life will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home in Wymore with burial at the Blue Springs Cemetery. A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 to 8:00 PM. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. A memorial has been established to the Beatrice Humane Society with the funeral home in charge.
