Ohiowa Man Admits to Violating Probation

An Ohiowa man was sent back to jail after admitting to violating terms of his probation.Zachery A. Kelch, age 24, appeared in Jefferson County District Court on Thursday, December 1, 2022, in the custody of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. David J.A. Bargen was the presiding judge.Kelch was sentenced in 2018 to 36 months of probation after pleading guilty to possession of methamphetamine, a class 4 felony, and first offense possession of a concealed weapon, a class 1 misdemeanor.According to Special Prosecutor Tad Eickman, Kelch violated his probation in a number of ways, including failing to report to the probation office as scheduled...
