Plymouth Man Faces Charges in Jefferson and Gage Counties

A Plymouth man has criminal cases pending in both Jefferson and Gage counties.


Jefferson County
Dustin Allen Anderson, age 47, of Plymouth, was arraigned in Jefferson County Court on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Linda Bauer was the presiding judge.
Anderson is charged with third degree domestic assault by threat or menacing, a class 1 misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in jail and a $1,000 fine. He is also charged with criminal mischief resulting in damage worth more than $500 but less than $1,500, a class 2 misdemeanor punishable by up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.


On February 17, 2026, at approximately 9:31 a.m., Jefferson County Communications (JCC) received a report that Anderson had broken the windshield of a vehicle, a white 2008 Ford Edge.
Anderson was not at the scene when deputies arrived. A search for him ensued. According to the arrest affidavit, “Anderson was ultimately found hiding in the back of a shed’s closet.”
The suspect was arrested and transported to the Jefferson County Jail.
Anderson requested court appointed counsel and Public Defender Scott Gropp was assigned to represent him.


Gage County
The defendant also has cases pending in Gage County. According to the Affidavit for Arrest Warrant, Anderson was arrested “as part of an ongoing narcotics trafficking investigation.”
Anderson was arraigned in Gage County Court on March 10, 2026. Jeffrey A. Gaertig was the presiding judge. He is charged with aiding and abetting a class 4 felony, punishable by up to two years in prison sentence, one year of post-release supervision and a $10,000 fine.


In Gage County District Court, Anderson is charged with possession of a controlled substance, a class 4 felony, punishable by up to two years imprisonment, 12 months of post-release supervision, and a $10,000 fine. Rick Schreiner is the presiding judge.


On September 25, 2025, at approximately 6:24 p.m., Gage County deputies executed a search warrant on a camper parked in the driveway of a residence in Beatrice. According to the arrest affidavit, inside the camper was located “a white crystalline substance, which field tested presumptively positive for methamphetamine.”
The defendant is represented in both Gage County cases by attorney Dustin A. Garrison.
