Softball Action
The Fairbury Lady Jeffs end the regular season on high note as they were able to dominate at home with a 11-1 against Wilber-Clatonia on Thursday, Oct. 3.
The Lady Jeffs were able to score one run for the first and second inning, dropped three runs in the third and would put the final touches to the game with six runs being brought across during the bottom of the fourth.
On the mound getting the win was Izzy Ohlde going four innings, allowing two hits, surrendered one run(one earned) and delivered five strikeouts.
For the offense for the Lady Jeffs, a total of 10 hits for 10 RBI. The trio of Rylee Gill, Sam Schmidt and Addison Marschman were each able to have two hits at the plate. Regan Kapke, Izzy Ohlde, Mailee Garner and Jordin Gill would each have one hit.
