Teresa A. Moeller

Teresa A. Moeller, 59, of Beatrice, passed away Saturday night, March 23, 2024 at Bryan East Medical Center in Lincoln. She was born on July 14, 1964 in Fairbury to Lyle and Judith Moeller. Teresa was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church of rural Plymouth. She graduated from Tri-County High School of DeWitt and then attended SCC. She played softball and basketball and coached softball for many years. She worked for the Beatrice State Developmental Center, Grandma’s Fruitcake, and the Beatrice Good Samaritan Center. She also delivered for the Beatrice Daily Sun and the Lincoln Journal Star. On April 28, 2001 she married Tim Johnsen and later they divorced. Teresa enjoyed watching sports, especially Nebraska football, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs. She liked attending auctions and caring for her pets.Survivors include her brothers, Gary Moeller of Beatrice and Jerry (Wendy) Moeller of Plymouth; nieces and nephews, Bodie (Ali) Moeller, Justin Lijewski, Connor (Michal) Moeller, Caitlyn Paulick, Taylor (Alex) Broening, Shayna Lijewski and Carissa Lijewski; great-nieces and great-nephews, Bowen and Briggs Moeller, Carter, Ivy and Jax Moeller, and Beckham Broening; aunt, Sue Cline; cousins, Shannon, Shane and Lance Cline. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle and Judy (Cline) Moeller; aunt, Lola Moeller; uncle, Don Cline.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, March 29, 2024 at the Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice with Pastor Doug Witkze officiating. Burial will be at the Fairbury Cemetery of Fairbury. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Beatrice Humane Society.
