Trenton Fuentez

Trenton Fuentez, 35, of Deshler, NE passed away on 4/8/2026 after a tragic work accident. Trent was born April 2, 1991 in Hebron, NE to Tim Fuentez and Tina Hinrichs. He was raised in Fairbury with 4 siblings. He attended and graduated from Fairbury High School in 2009, where he was fondly referred to as “Tokyo”. He attended Metropolitan Community College in Omaha to study Graphic Design. He then began work at Reinke Irrigation. There for 13 years, he had worked his way up to a Group Lead who was well loved and respected by his team. Trent had found the love of his life in Abbey Draper. They loved to be goofy together, play board games and were genuinely the happiest their friends and loved ones had seen them be. The two planned to marry next month, raising their three children (Ezra and Aurora, age 9; and Paxton, age 8). He was already an integral part of their lives. They each had their own special bedtime routine that he knew by heart. Paxton and Ezra loved to play catch and video games with him, while Aurora had him wrapped around her little finger. He even learned to braid so he could braid her long, curly locks every night. Trent was a natural at being a dad, with his patient and loving demeanor along with his love for being silly and playful right alongside the children. Friends will remember Trent for his unconditional love, his love of dogs, and his hard-working, yet playful zest for life. Survivors include his fiancé, Abbey Draper and their children, Ezra, Aurora, and Paxton. He is survived by his mother, Tina Marie Hinrichs, his father, Timothy Fuentez and step-mother, Tammy I. Cummings. His siblings include Nicole Ross, Laura Hinrichs, Sarah Hinrichs, and Brandon Hinrichs. He is also survived by his grandfather, Bob Hinrichs, but proceeded in death by 3 other grandparents, Sandra Hinrichs, Eddie Fuentez, and Mary Fuentez. His nieces and nephews were very important to him and include: Laylah, Colton, and Emerson (Laura’s children), Declan and Caleb (Nicole’s children); Stormy and Benson (Sarah’s children); and Arabella (Brandon’s child). Visitation will be Tuesday April 14th from 2 PM to 7 PM with family receiving friends from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Kroll-Massey Funeral Home in Deshler, NE.
