Jeffs Face Wolverines In Sub-DistrictsThe Fairbury Jeffs season came to an end as they lost in the first round of the C1-1 sub-districts to Wilber-Clatonia on Tuesday, Feb. 20 with the final score reaching 25-64.Unfortunately, Fairbury was not able to get the offense on track as the team shot 24 percent from the field.Top efforts from Fairbury came from Jakolbe Atkins scoring six points, and grabbing one rebound.Ben Starr was able to score five points, grab two rebounds, and had two blocks.Korey Nippert led the team with five rebounds, and scored four points.With their season coming to an end Fairbury has their record standing at (8-16). Auburn Ends W-C’s RunThe Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines season came to an end in the C1-1 sub-districts finals. W-C was able to grab a 64-25 victory against Fairbury in the first round on Tuesday, Feb. 20 but would lose to Auburn on Thursday, Feb. 22 with a final score reaching 29-58.With the loss the Wolverines season record stands at (13-13). Mustangs Can’t Pull Out WinThe Meridian Mustangs season came to an end in the D2-2 sub-districts first round as they lost to Meade on Tuesday, Feb. 20 with the final score reaching 19-44.With their season coming to a close the Mustangs record stands at (5-17). Raiders Battle JCCThe Southern Raiders fell in the first round of the C2-1 sub-districts to Johnson County Central on Monday, Feb. 19 with the final score reaching 40-56.With the loss Southern ends their season with a record of (11-10). Trojans EndsSeason With Outstanding RecordThe Tri County Trojans battled, but lost in their first round of the C2-1 sub-districts to Lincoln Lutheran with the final score reaching 45-50. Despite the loss Tri County ends the season with a winning record of (17-5). Titans In Close Game With EMFThe Thayer Central Titans lost a close one in the first round of the C2-2 sub-districts to E.M.F on Tuesday, Feb. 20 with the final score reaching 46-49. With the loss Thayer Central has their season record stand at (10-12).Falls City Ends Season For GriffinsThe Diller-Odell Griffins had their season come to an end in the first round of the D2-1 sub-districts as they lost on Tuesday, Feb. 20 to Falls City with a final score of 27-66.With the loss Diller-Odell has their season record stand at (7-13).
