In Jefferson County CourtRussell Alan Hodges, age 50, of Fairbury, was sentenced to 12 months of probation in Jefferson County Court on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Hodges was originally charged with violating the Nebraska Sex Offender Registration Act. Hodges is currently on probation for a matter in North Carolina but is supervised in Nebraska. The sentences will run concurrently.Ray D. Lowe, age 68, of Fairbury, pleaded Guilty to DUI. Sentencing is scheduled for April 12.Nathan D. Imes, age 40, of Fairbury, pleaded Not Guilty in Jefferson County Court the morning of Wednesday, February 22, 2023. He is charged with driving under a suspended license and driving without a valid registration. Both are class 1 misdemeanors.Michael Brent Woolard, age 48, of Fairbury, appeared in Jefferson County Court in the custody of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Linda Bauer was the presiding judge. Woolard is charged with second degree criminal trespass, a class 2 misdemeanor. Woolard originally backed out of a plea agreement and the case was continued.Macon J. Kaer, age 36, of Fairbury, was scheduled to be arraigned in Jefferson County Court on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, but failed to appear. A warrant was issued for his arrest.Jody W. Duke, 40, of Fairbury, appeared in Jefferson County Court on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, in the custody of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. On February 1, 2023, a motion to revoke the bond was filed by the county attorney. Another hearing is scheduled for March 8, 2023.Gerald Ackerman, age 66, was arraigned in Jefferson County Court on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, via webcam, in the custody of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. He is charged with attempted possession of methamphetamine, a class 1 misdemeanor. Another hearing is scheduled for March 8.In Gage County CourtDerrie Seeman, age 41, of Liberty, was sentenced to probation for 24 months and 15 days in jail. In accordance with a plea agreement, Seeman pleaded No Contest to one count of violating a protection order, third degree domestic assault and a reduced charge of misdemeanor stalking.Jarod R. Hicks, age 36, of Blue Springs, has reached a plea agreement with the State. He was originally charged with theft by receiving stolen property with a value of $1,500 to $5,000, a class 4 felony, and driving while his license was revoked, a class 2 misdemeanor. In accordance with a plea agreement, Hicks pleaded No Contest to a reduced charge of attempt of a class 4 felony, which is a class 1 misdemeanor.
